Analyst Hails Pak-Iran-Iraq Agreement on Pilgrims’ Facilitation

Lahore: Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi has expressed approval of the newly established mechanism agreed upon by Pakistan, Iran, and Iraq for facilitating pilgrimages to holy sites in Iran and Iraq from Pakistan. This arrangement marks a shift from the previous system where pilgrims had to manage the entire process independently.

According to Radio Pakistan, the agreement delegates responsibilities to companies that will engage directly with pilgrims. This new structure is anticipated to create a competitive environment among these companies, aiming to enhance facilities and services for the pilgrims. The competition is also expected to lead to a reduction in travel expenditures, making the pilgrimage more accessible.
