Analyst Lauds Pak-Uzbek Leadership’s Resolve to Boost Ties

Islamabad: The visit of Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Pakistan is a very positive development as it will further cement bilateral cooperation between both the countries. During his stay here, Pakistan and Uzbekistan have signed a number of agreements to boost bilateral ties, especially to higher the tune of bilateral trade to two billion dollars. This time, both have shown the utmost resolve and commitment to materialize and implement bilateral agreements.

According to Radio Pakistan, both sides had already signed a number of agreements in the past too, but the pace of materializing those MoUs and agreements was slower. However, this time, the leadership of both countries appears very committed; therefore, there is optimism that the newly signed agreements will be materialized. These agreements are expected to significantly boost the economy of Pakistan.
