ANF Initiates Nationwide Effort to Ensure Drug-Free University Campuses

Islamabad: In a major move towards a healthier academic environment, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has embarked on a nationwide campaign aimed at eradicating drug use in universities across Pakistan. The campaign kicked off with a significant conference in Punjab, bringing together various stakeholders from multiple institutions.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the conference, organized by the ANF, was a collaborative effort involving representatives from the Higher Education Commission, Health Department, Excise and Narcotics Punjab, Punjab Rangers, Punjab Police, Safe City Authority, FIA, NADRA, PCSIR, and other key educational and social institutions. The primary focus of the gathering was to formulate and discuss strategies to prevent drug use within educational settings.

Participants of the conference presented a range of suggestions aimed at reinforcing the anti-drug regulations and enhancing the preventive measures across universities. The involvement of such a broad spectrum of institutions underscores the comprehensive approach the ANF is adopting to tackle this pressing issue.
