Annual Sports Day 2016 of DA Montessori held

Karachi, December 14, 2016 (PPI-OT): The Annual Sports Day 2016 of DA Montessori was held here today. Capt (R) PN Sajid Mahmood, TI (M) was the chief guest of the function.

Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said that sports demonstrate the power of human will to compete and thrive to excel beyond the body’s normal capabilities. He said that sports events should be held regularly as the spirit of sports provide the opportunities to be creative and to be mentally, physically and emotionally robust in life.

The Chief Guest Addl Dir Edu Capt (R) PN Sajid Mahmood appreciated the teachers and students for all their efforts for putting up such a brilliant and well organized sports day.

Earlier the Principal Ms. Ayesha Wasti in her welcome address said that sports in addition to enhancing mental and physical development of body also helped in producing skills, preservance, enterprise and agility in human personality which is the cornerstone of success in life.

The young kids beaming with confidence looked spectacular in their colourful costumes. They presents musical rhymes and delightful and magnificent plays which highly applauded by the guests.

At the end, chief guest awarded medals to the winners of each game and shook hands with each and every child warmly.
