The three-day annual Urs celebrations of renowned Punjabi Sufi poet and author of Punjabi folk tale ‘Heer Ranjha’ Syed Waris Shah, began in Jandiala Sher Khan near Sheikhupura on Monday.
On the occasion, special prayers were also offered for progress and prosperity of the country.
