Hyderabad: Ansari Sugar Mills Limited has scheduled its 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for September 30, 2024. The meeting will convene at 11:30 AM at the company’s registered office in Deh Jagsiyani, Taluka Tando Ghulam Hayder, District Tando Muhammad Khan, Hyderabad, Sindh. Members unable to attend in person will have the option to participate via video conferencing.
The agenda includes the confirmation of the minutes from the last AGM held on July 2, 2024. Members will also review, consider, and adopt the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023. These statements, along with the directors’ and auditors’ reports, are already accessible on the company’s official website.
Furthermore, attendees will appoint and set remuneration for auditors for the current financial year. A key item under special business will be the proposed change of the registered company address from its current location to CL-514, State Life Building No. 10, Abdullah Haroon Road, Karachi, Sindh.
The AGM will also consider a proposal for the company to sell molasses to Pak Ethanol (Pvt) Limited at a mutually agreed price. Additional matters may be brought up with the chair’s permission.
