Anti-Cervical Cancer Vaccination Campaigns Launch in Punjab and Sindh

Lahore: In Punjab, a two-week long anti-cervical cancer vaccination campaign will commence from Monday. Provincial Minister for Health Khawaja Imran Nazir announced in a statement that the campaign aims to administer vaccinations to eight hundred thousand girls aged nine to fourteen in educational institutions. The campaign is set to continue until the 27th of this month.

According to Radio Pakistan, a similar two-week long anti-cervical cancer vaccination campaign will also commence in Sindh from Monday. Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho conveyed in a video message that the vaccination campaign has been designed to protect young girls aged nine to fourteen from cervical cancer.
