Anti-Drug Operations in Pishin Lead to Destruction of Cannabis Cultivation

Pishin: In a significant move to curb the drug menace in the region, Assistant Commissioner Pishin Zaheer Ahmad Zehri, acting on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Zahid Khan, eradicated a substantial cannabis plantation in Kali Yasinzai Saidan, a suburb of Pishin. The operation is part of a broader crackdown aimed at eliminating illegal drug activities in the district.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Assistant Commissioner Zehri highlighted that this action is a continuation of efforts mandated by both the Commissioner of the Quetta Division and the Deputy Commissioner of Pishin. These operations target various areas within the district to staunch the flow and cultivation of narcotics, reinforcing the local government’s commitment to drug-free communities.
