Anti-Polio Campaign Launched in Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Lahore: An anti-polio campaign targeting children under five years of age has commenced in the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The initiative aims to administer polio vaccine drops to over forty million children, ensuring protection against the disease.

According to Radio Pakistan, mobile teams from the Health Department have been deployed to go door to door, facilitating the vaccination process. This approach is intended to ensure that every child in the targeted age group receives the vaccine, thereby reducing the risk of polio infection.
