APHC-AJK Backs Protests in Kashmir Over Blasphemous Remarks

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has declared its full support for the protest demonstrations organized by the Hurriyat Conference in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir. The protests are scheduled to take place after Friday prayers in response to derogatory remarks made by Hindutva priest Yati Narsinghanand.

According to Kashmir Media Service, leading figures from APHC-AJK, including Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, General Secretary Advocate Parvez Shah, and Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, along with other senior leaders, have vocally condemned the offensive comments made against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Holy Quran. They have called upon the residents of the region to ensure the protests are a resounding success and are demanding that Yati Narsinghanand face severe consequences for his actions.
