APHC Raises Serious Concerns Over Non-Locals Buying Land in IIOJK

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has raised serious concerns over the increasing control of non-local entities over land and businesses in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the APHC has issued a statement warning that these actions are part of a deliberate attempt to alter the territory’s demography. The organization has highlighted that non-locals are purchasing and confiscating land on a large scale in popular tourist destinations, which they claim is part of a sinister agenda to undermine the territory’s governance and legal frameworks.

The APHC has further pointed out that officials who oppose such transactions involving non-locals are being transferred to silence dissent and protect vested interests. This situation, they emphasize, poses a threat to the integrity and traditional ownership patterns in the region.
