APHC Terms Kashmiris’ Resistance Movement as Legitimate Struggle to Secure Right to Self-Determination

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India is deceiving international community about ground situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by hiding its state terrorism and grave human rights violations in territory.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said, the BJP-led Indian government cannot perpetuate its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir through military might and its Hindutva-driven RSS agenda.

He called for greater unity among Kashmiri people and political parties to collectively advance their legitimate demand for right to self-determination.

The spokesman reiterated that Kashmiris’ resistance movement is a legitimate and democratic struggle to end India’s forcible occupation and secure right to self-determination through peaceful means.

The APHC urged international community to fulfil its moral and legal responsibilities by supporting just cause of Kashmiris in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions.
