APHC Urges World to Play Role in Resolving Kashmir Dispute in Line with UN Resolutions

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the BJP-led Indian government’s rigid and oppressive policies remain the biggest hurdle to peace and the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

According to Radio Pakistan, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, voiced deep concern over the Modi regime’s escalating human rights violations, including the clampdown on the commemorations of July 13, 1931 martyrs. He stressed that India cannot crush the Kashmiri people’s legitimate struggle for the UN-recognized right to self-determination through brute force.

The APHC urged the international community to take urgent notice of the deteriorating situation in IOJK and play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in line with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
