Armed Forces Ready to Defend Pakistan’s Sovereignty, Says Defense Minister

Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has affirmed that the entire nation stands united with its armed forces, pledging a strong response to India in the event of any misadventure.

According to Radio Pakistan, during an exclusive conversation with a private news channel, Khawaja Asif warned that a conflict between two nuclear powers poses a threat to both regional and global peace. He highlighted that this critical issue has been brought to the attention of the world community, which could initiate an investigation.

Responding to a question, the Minister clearly stated that Pakistan’s nation and armed forces are prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty, emphasizing that no compromise will be made on this matter. He also expressed gratitude to the Pakistani media for effectively countering misinformation campaigns by the Indian media and revealing the truth.

In response to another inquiry, Khawaja Asif mentioned that Pakistan maintains regular communication and engagement with its neighboring countries.
