Armed Groups Affiliated with Outlawed Action Committee Attack Police in Rawalakot

Rawalakot: The armed groups affiliated with the outlawed Action Committee have once again disclosed their hostile intentions by launching an attack on the police in Rawalakot.

According to Radio Pakistan, the armed activists of the banned organization attacked security forces personnel with modern weapons and hand grenades. The attackers opened intense fire and also hurled grenades at the police post, injuring a Frontier Constabulary constable, Mushtaq. He was immediately shifted to CMH Rawalakot for medical treatment.

Over the past few days, five security personnel have been injured in armed attacks carried out by the banned organization on the outskirts of Rawalakot. According to analysts, people of Azad Kashmir have completely rejected the misleading and negative propaganda of the banned organization. The successful conduct of the elections further confirms that the people do not support the attitude and actions of the banned Action Committee.
