Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, has strongly condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza, describing them as genocide against the Palestinian people. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he emphasized the urgent need for unity among the Muslim Ummah in the face of ongoing violence and suffering.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ashrafi announced that Palestine Solidarity Day would be observed this Friday to show support for the Palestinian cause. He urged all political parties to set aside their differences and come together in solidarity with the Palestinians.
He further stated that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is the collective demand of the entire Muslim Ummah.
