At UN, Pakistan Demands Halt to Genocidal War in Gaza

New York: At the United Nations, Pakistan has demanded a halt to the genocidal war in Gaza and implementation of the 15th January ceasefire agreement. Permanent representative of Pakistan to the UN, Munir Akram, addressed the 15-member Security Council in New York, emphasizing that Israel’s aggression, its attacks, and its slaughter of the Palestinians must stop.

According to Radio Pakistan, Akram’s statement was part of a broader call for peace and adherence to existing ceasefire agreements. He urged the international community to take immediate action to prevent further loss of life and ensure that the rights of Palestinians are protected. Akram highlighted the urgent need for a sustainable solution to the ongoing conflict, stressing that the cycle of violence must be broken to pave the way for lasting peace in the region.
