Attack in Kathua Leaves Indian Police Officer Dead, Another Injured

Jammu: In a violent incident during a cordon and search operation, an Indian police officer was killed and another was injured in Kathua district, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the attack occurred in the Bilawar area of the district. Armed assailants targeted the security personnel, resulting in the death of a head constable and injuries to an assistant sub-inspector.

This incident follows another recent attack in the Kulgam district where four Indian soldiers and a policeman were wounded. Reports indicate that operations were ongoing in the area as of the latest updates.
