Attaullah Tarar Visits Ishrat Fatima’s Residence, Honours Her Broadcasting Legacy

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited the residence of legendary broadcaster Ishrat Fatima in Islamabad on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister paid tribute to Ishrat Fatima’s services to the field of broadcasting, spanning more than four decades.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister acknowledged Ishrat Fatima as a name known and loved across Pakistan, describing her as a living legend of the country’s media landscape. He mentioned his request for Ishrat Fatima to join Pakistan Television (PTV), suggesting that her association with the national broadcaster would serve as inspiration and learning for the younger generation.

He noted that Ishrat Fatima carries with her the legacy of Pakistan’s broadcasting history. Ishrat Fatima expressed gratitude to the Minister for his gesture and appreciated the spirit of acknowledging, respecting, and encouraging talent.
