Aurangzeb Engages with Institutional Investors in Washington Seminar

Washington: Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb held a productive engagement with institutional investors at a seminar organized by JP Morgan on “Pakistan’s Economic and Monetary Policy Outlook” in Washington on Thursday. The Minister briefed participants on the stable macroeconomic outlook of the country, highlighting the twin surpluses, lowest inflation in years, healthy foreign exchange reserves, and sound debt management.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister informed that these developments had resulted in the sovereign credit rating of Pakistan being upgraded by Fitch. The seminar concluded with a Questions and Answers session where the Finance Minister responded to investors’ queries.
