Austria Lauds Pakistan’s Role in Promoting Regional Peace

Pakistan: Pakistan is committed to sustained diplomatic engagement, including continued efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the United States aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the region and beyond. This commitment was expressed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar during a telephonic conversation with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Austrian Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting dialogue and its mediation between Iran and the United States in support of regional peace and stability. Ishaq Dar and Beate Meinl-Reisinger also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and agreed to remain in close contact.
