Authorities Arrest Afghan Mastermind in Islamabad Attack Case

Islamabad: There is significant progress in the investigation of the Islamabad suicide attack.

According to Radio Pakistan, intelligence and law enforcement agencies conducted raids and made arrests in Peshawar and Nowshera. They confirmed that four facilitators of the suicide bomber have been detained.

Security sources revealed that the Afghan mastermind, linked to Daesh, has been captured. The planning, training, and radicalization for the attack were reportedly orchestrated in Afghanistan by Daesh.

During the operation, one individual was martyred, and three others sustained injuries.
