Ayaz Sadiq Warns Against Anti-Country Statements in National Assembly

Lahore: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has announced that any statement against the country, judiciary, and the armed forces of Pakistan will not be tolerated in Parliament. During a visit to the National College of Arts in Lahore, he emphasized that discussions within the National Assembly must strictly adhere to the constitutional and legal framework.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ayaz Sadiq made it clear that individuals speaking against Pakistan will not be permitted to express their views in the National Assembly. He asserted his impartiality in his role as Speaker, distancing himself from both government and opposition affiliations, and emphasized his commitment to performing his duties without bias.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further mentioned that while protest is a democratic right, it must be conducted peacefully. Addressing the economic situation, he noted that the country’s economy is showing signs of strengthening, which he views as evidence of economic stability. He also highlighted Pakistan’s strong and cordial relations with major countries such as the United States, China, Russia, Turkiye, and Saudi Arabia.
