Bahrain’s King Hosts Luncheon for Pakistani President Zardari

Manama: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain hosted a luncheon in honor of President Asif Ali Zardari today. The event, attended by senior members of the Bahraini Royal Family and a high-level Pakistani delegation, took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari, accompanied by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, was also invited by King Hamad to view Bahrain’s renowned collection of pure-bred Arabian horses at the Royal Stud. During the visit, the President was informed about King Hamad’s efforts in preserving the ancient Bahraini horse lineages, known for their pure status, speed, and intelligence.

President Zardari expressed his admiration for King Hamad’s dedication to maintaining these rare bloodlines. He noted that the Arabian horse holds a significant place in the shared cultural and Islamic history of Pakistan and Bahrain, symbolizing the enduring bond between the two nations.
