Balochistan CM Announces Merger of Levies Force Into Police

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stressed the need for an effective strategy to counter baseless and misleading propaganda against the state. He was presiding over a meeting of the Board of Governance of the Balochistan Center of Excellence on Counter Violent Extremism in Quetta today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sarfraz Bugti highlighted the importance of guiding all segments of society, particularly the youth, towards factual realities. He stated that fact-based narratives would be promoted through educational institutions and social media to shield the younger generation from misleading influences.

Meanwhile, in a separate statement on X, Sarfraz Bugti announced that the Levies Force has been fully merged into the police across Balochistan. He mentioned that the move resolves a long-standing administrative ambiguity and ensures uniform enforcement of law in the province.
