Balochistan Government Blacklists Contractors for Incomplete Projects and Violations

Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has taken strict action against three contractors for failing to complete their respective projects despite receiving advance payments. These firms have been blacklisted and barred from participating in any future government contracts for a duration of three years due to violations of the Balochistan Public Procurement Regulation 2017.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, MS Al Khair Construction Company has been blacklisted for not completing the Shaban Valley Road project from Hana Orak to Toor Shore District in Quetta. Similarly, Origin Enterprises and Hamlet Builders have faced the same punitive action for not responding to official communications regarding their contractual obligations. Furthermore, MS Power Square Engineering Group has also been blacklisted for leaving the construction of the Government Boys Inter College Panhor Main Building in District Sahabpur incomplete.

These actions reflect the government’s commitment to enforcing contractual compliance and ensuring that infrastructural projects are completed. The blacklisted companies will not be eligible to participate in any government tenders or contracts for the next three years, as per the directives issued by the Department of Communications and Construction, Government of Balochistan.
