Balochistan Government Focuses on Irrigation Projects to Cultivate Barren Land

Quetta: Balochistan Government is giving top priority to irrigation sector to bring more barren land under cultivation.

According to Radio Pakistan, work is underway on the construction of Bolan Dam, Thangi Dam in district Awaran, Sura Khula Dam in Quetta, and Sansrani Dam in Gwadar, which will help improve underground water table in these areas.

Similarly, in collaboration with the Federal Government, projects including Gruge Dam Kharan, Basmol Dam Gwadar, Windar Dam Lesbela, and Panjgur Dam are being built to address water scarcity.
