Balochistan Government to Establish Mini Off-Grid Power Stations in Remote Areas

Quetta: Balochistan government has decided to establish mini and off-grid power stations in remote areas of the province to ensure supply of electricity. The decision was made during a consultative meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting reviewed various electricity supply and transmission projects. The Chief Minister stated that the policy for on-grid power stations would be finalized through mutual consultation to strengthen the province’s electricity transmission system.
