Balochistan Govt Decides to Set Up Nursing Colleges in All Divisions

Quetta: The Balochistan Government has decided to set up nursing colleges in all divisions and key districts of the province under a public-private partnership model. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative aims to produce around two thousand trained nurses annually with the support of Khyber Medical University. The meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing healthcare education and training facilities to meet the growing demands of the healthcare sector in the region.

The establishment of these nursing colleges is expected to improve healthcare services and create more job opportunities in the province. The collaboration with Khyber Medical University will provide the necessary expertise and resources to ensure the effective functioning of the proposed institutions.
