Balochistan Govt Endeavouring to Curb Illegal Mining: CM Bugti

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that action has been taken against illegal chromite mining in District Pishin and 47 illegal mines have been closed.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister, in a statement on social media platform X on Friday, remarked that illegal mining has affected the annual income from the Mines and Minerals sector, which is less than 10 billion rupees.

The Chief Minister further mentioned that the Provincial Government is introducing a comprehensive policy aimed at eliminating illegal mining and enhancing the performance of the mineral sector.
