Balochistan Local Government Officials Seek Solutions to Administrative Challenges

Quetta: District chairmen from various districts met with Provincial Secretary of Local Government Abdul Rauf Baloch to discuss pressing administrative challenges at the local level. They highlighted issues including abrupt personnel transfers and financial constraints that hinder local governance.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the district chairmen requested that officer transfers be coordinated with their offices to ensure smooth operations within local governments. They also called for the swift release of funds from the Finance Department and the provision of vehicles to enhance the monitoring and performance of governmental duties.

Secretary Baloch expressed his commitment to addressing these issues, stating that he would prepare a summary for higher authorities outlining the problems and potential solutions. He expressed optimism that the concerns raised would be resolved promptly, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of local governance in Balochistan.
