Islamabad: The British newspaper Financial Times has released a documentary film that exposes the authoritarian rule and corruption of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh. The film, which is based on investigations by local and international experts, reveals that corruption, looting, and abuse of power flourished during Sheikh Hasina’s rule.

According to Radio Pakistan, the South Asia bureau chief of the Financial Times highlighted that the student protest movement reached its peak due to corruption in job quotas and the government’s authoritarian behavior. The documentary provides a detailed examination of how these issues contributed to the unrest and dissatisfaction among the population during her tenure.
