Karachi: Bank Alfalah has unveiled Worklee, a human resources hiring and remote working app, marking a significant step in creating inclusive and accessible employment opportunities across Pakistan. The app, the first of its kind in the country, is designed to support diverse groups, particularly women seeking remote work, persons with disabilities, and freelancers, by eliminating barriers inherent in traditional work environments.
Worklee offers a straightforward and user-friendly platform for individuals to register, build profiles, and apply for job openings within Bank Alfalah. It also facilitates remote job execution where applicable. This initiative aligns with the State Bank of Pakistan’s ‘Banking on Equality’ framework, reflecting Bank Alfalah’s dedication to fostering inclusion and financial empowerment.
Initially, the app will focus on hiring and service delivery for contact center WhatsApp chat agent roles, with future expansion plans into fields such as programming and coding, based on business requirements.
Faisal Farooq Khan, Chief Human Resources Officer at Bank Alfalah, emphasized the bank’s commitment to equal employment opportunities. He stated, “Alfalah Worklee is a step towards breaking barriers, offering people from all walks of life the flexibility to work remotely and achieve financial independence.”
With this launch, Bank Alfalah continues to spearhead efforts in financial inclusion, gender equality, and digital transformation within Pakistan’s employment sector.
