Behenji along with party activists arrested in IOK

Srinagar, February 08, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested the patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Farida Behenji along with party activists at Press Colony in Srinagar, today. Police arrested Farida Behenji, when she along with her party activists was going from Press Colony towards the office of UN military observers to present a memorandum there demanding of the international community to put pressure on India to hand over the mortal remains of martyred liberation leaders, Mohammad Maqbool Butt and Mohammad Afzal Guru to their families.

The police lodged Molvi Bashir Ahmad, Abdur Rasheed Lone, Fayaz Ahmad Khan, Mehmooda Baji and Insha Bashir at Kotibagh Police Station. Earlier, Farida Behenji addressing party activists at Press Colony appealed to the international community to put pressure on India to give Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination.
