Belarus Provides Tractors to Pakistan to Boost Agri Sector

Islamabad: Belarus has handed over heavy-duty tractors to Pakistan to strengthen the agricultural sector and increase agricultural produce. Ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan, Andrei N. Metelista, and Director General of Green Corporate Initiative, Major General (Retd) Shahid Nazir, attended the ceremony.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Belarusian heavy-duty tractors will undergo feasibility trials in various ground conditions. This initiative is a critical development under the Green Pakistan Initiative, part of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), and is expected to bring significant advancements in the agricultural sector.

The introduction of these tractors is anticipated to lead to a substantial enhancement in agriculture productivity, aligning with the broader goals of the Green Pakistan Initiative. The initiative aims to modernize and revolutionize the agricultural practices in Pakistan, thereby contributing to the country’s economic growth.
