Bestway Cement Earns Certification for Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Islamabad: Bestway Cement Limited has announced that it has received the ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for Greenhouse Gas Emissions. The certification was awarded by TUV Austria Bureau of Inspection and Certification (BIC) in Pakistan and encompasses all five of Bestway Cement’s production facilities located in Chakwal, Kallar Kahar, Mianwali, Hattar, and Farooqia.

According to a statement by Bestway Cement Pakistan, the certification follows a comprehensive evaluation process, during which the company’s Scope 1 and Scope 2 Greenhouse Gas emission inventories were successfully verified. This certification marks a significant achievement in Bestway Cement’s ongoing pursuit of sustainable development practices.
