Lahore: Bestway Foundation has been awarded the Social Responsibility Award 2024 by Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, recognizing its ongoing contributions to the hospital and research center over the past year. This acknowledgment underscores Bestway’s dedication to supporting local communities through healthcare and education initiatives.
The award ceremony, which gathered key local and multinational companies in Pakistan, highlighted the significant role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the country. Bestway Foundation, ranked among the top ten CSR spenders in Pakistan, has consistently directed its philanthropic efforts toward a range of social causes, with a strong emphasis on education.
Through its charitable arm, the Bestway Foundation, the organization has extended financial support to various educational and healthcare institutions nationwide. In addition to this, the Foundation operates five schools and a Girls’ College, all offering free quality education.
In 2023, Bestway Foundation celebrated the opening of two modern school buildings in Hattar and Farooqia, with plans for another in Mianwali, reflecting its ongoing commitment to educational advancement.
Moreover, Bestway also addresses healthcare needs by operating free medical centers at each of its production sites, serving over 60,000 patients annually from surrounding communities.
