Karachi: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed free distribution of pink scooters among women as an important step towards women empowerment in Sindh. He was speaking at a ceremony for the distribution of free pink scooters to women in Karachi.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the event, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also announced plans to introduce pink taxis exclusively for women in the near future. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance mobility and independence for women in the region.
Addressing the same ceremony, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah emphasized that the Sindh government has consistently implemented measures aimed at improving the welfare of women. The introduction of pink scooters is seen as a continuation of these efforts, providing women with greater access to transportation and opportunities for empowerment.
