Bilour’s martyrdom a national loss: Tariq Sayeed Business community condemns deadly attack on Senior Minister

Islamabad, December 24, 2012 (PPI-OT): The sad demise of Senior Minister Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa Bashir Ahmad Bilour is not only a national loss but also a setback to democracy, a national business leader said Monday.

Business Community across the country has strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack resulting in the martyrdom of Bashir Ahmed Bilour and many other innocent, said Tariq Sayeed, former president FPCCI and Saarc Chamber.

Condoling with the elder brother of martyred minister Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Federal Railways Minister, Senator Ilyas Bilour, and Aziz Ahmed Bilour Federal Secretary at their residence in Peshawar, he said that we have lost a brave son of soil who offered supreme sacrifice for his beliefs.

Expressed profound grief and sorrow, Sayeed said that despite being on top of terrorists list, he went to the narrowest streets and addressed public meetings to meet people and listen to their problems which proved his sincerity.

Nation will always remember the valuable services of Bashir Ahmad Bilour, he said, adding that he was a courageous man who passed hectic days and nights to serve public and end terrorism and eventually sacrificed his life for the sake of peace.

Sayeed also condoled with other members of the bereaved families and termed it another callous attempt by the terrorists. Chairman Businessmen Panel Mr. Sayeed said that such acts of terror wouldn’t lower the spirit of nation.
