Karachi: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Rubina Khalid announced that BISP is making progress in digitizing beneficiary payments through Digital Wallets. She shared these insights during a meeting with the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jameel Ahmad, in Karachi.
According to Radio Pakistan, Rubina Khalid highlighted that the distribution of free mobile SIMs has been expedited. She encouraged eligible women who have not yet received the free SIMs to collect them from their nearest BISP offices before the 15th of the upcoming month. The Governor of the State Bank assured complete support in implementing the interoperability mechanism to facilitate BISP beneficiaries.
