BISP Central Zone Punjab Holds Workshop on Benazir Nashonuma Phase 3

Islamabad: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Central Zone Punjab, in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), conducted a two-day planning workshop for BISP District Managers, Tehsil Managers, and Assistant Directors in Lahore.

According to Radio Pakistan, the workshop aimed to brief key field officials on the implementation of Phase 3 of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme. The Director General of BISP Punjab addressed the gathering, highlighting that the transition to Phase 3 is a significant step in addressing stunting and malnutrition among vulnerable households in Punjab.

Ramiz Behbudov, Chief Field Officer of UNICEF, expressed the organization’s commitment to supporting the Government of Pakistan and BISP in enhancing maternal and child nutrition outcomes.
