BISP Chairperson Clarifies No Survey Fee, Warns Against Fraudulent Messages

Islamabad: Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, recently visited the BISP Dynamic Registry Center and Payment Camp Site in Faisalabad to directly address and resolve concerns among beneficiaries regarding the program’s operations and messaging.

According to Press Information Department, “During her visit, Senator Khalid communicated to the women present for registration and payment collection that there is no survey fee associated with the BISP, and the only official contact number is 8171.” She warned that any communication received from other numbers should be considered fraudulent and reported immediately. Additionally, for issues such as deductions or corruption, beneficiaries are urged to contact the BISP Helpline at 0800-26477.

The visit was part of Senator Khalid’s commitment to understanding and swiftly addressing the challenges faced by eligible women. Her interactions with the beneficiaries led to immediate directives aimed at enhancing service delivery at the site. The women expressed appreciation for the Senator’s efforts in ensuring their concerns were heard and acted upon promptly.
