BJP Panchayat member goes missing in IIOJK

Srinagar, August 24, 2020 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, amid the ongoing spate of anger against the local collaborators of fascist Modi government in India, especially the BJP functionaries in the Valley, a panchayat member of the Hindu extremist party has gone missing from Shopian district.

An audio clip that has gone viral claims that the BJP leader has been killed by some unknown kidnappers. Police said the BJP panchayat member, who went missing in the Chakoora area two days back, had gone to Shopian for some work. Police said the claims in the viral audio tape are being verified.

The audio clip was apparently released by the kidnappers who claimed that the BJP panch was hobnobbing with the Indian authorities, further adding that there were complaints against the BJP leader who was picked and killed.

The development comes amid a series of attacks took place on several BJP leaders and activists in the last month. Earlier this month, as many as 17 BJP workers resigned fearing for their lives after a party functionary was seriously injured in an attack in Budgam district. The attack had triggered a string of resignations from party workers in the Valley.
