Karachi: The D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited has rescheduled its board meeting to discuss the un-audited financial statements for the first quarter ended September 30, 2024. Originally set the meeting will now take place on October 17, 2024, at Karachi.
According to the notice dated October 10, 2024, the change in timing aims to facilitate a detailed review of the financial statements for the period. The meeting will be held under strict compliance with the ongoing “Closed Period” as per Pakistan Stock Exchange regulations, which restricts directors and executives from dealing in company shares during this time.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the “Closed Period” is effective from October 10, 2024, until the day of the meeting, October 17, 2024. This period is critical for maintaining the integrity of financial disclosures as the company prepares to release its results to the public.
Stakeholders, including TRE Certificate Holders, have been advised of the schedule change and are requested to adjust their plans accordingly to accommodate the new meeting time. The company has confirmed that there are no changes to the previously announced financial figures for the quarter.
