Bodies of 6 Pakistanis Repatriated After Libya Boat Tragedy

Islamabad: The bodies of six Pakistanis who lost their lives in a boat accident in Libya have been returned to Pakistan. Minister for Housing and Works Riaz Hussain Pirzada was present at Islamabad airport to receive the bodies.

According to Radio Pakistan, the minister expressed the government’s condolences to the bereaved families. He also assured that efforts are in progress to repatriate the remaining deceased.

Pirzada stated that plans are underway to bring back thirty-seven Pakistani survivors of the accident. The government is actively working to ensure their safe return.
