Body of 20-Year-Old Man Found in Rajouri River After Extensive Search

Srinagar: The body of Mohammad Yaser, a 20-year-old from Sarula, was recovered from a river in Rajouri district after he was reported missing four days ago. Rescue operations concluded on Monday when his body was found five kilometers downstream.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Yaser was attempting to cross the river on Friday when he was overtaken by a strong current. Following the incident, a search and rescue operation involving local volunteers and rescue teams was launched.

The recovery operation ended successfully this afternoon with the location of Yaser’s body, which was subsequently handed over to his grieving family. The officials confirmed that all necessary legal formalities have been completed prior to the handover.
