Book ‘Rescuing the US Rangers’ Unveiled to Public for First Time at AIMH

The book “rescuing the us rangers” has been unveiled to the public for the first time at the army institute of military history (aimh): A large number of Pakistan Army veterans, academics, prominent personalities, and the public attended the event.

According to Radio Pakistan, the book, written by Sarmad Zia, is based on the Pakistan Army’s meticulous planning and a successful military operation. It documents a significant and historic operation carried out by the Pakistan Army in Mogadishu, Somalia. In 1993, Pakistani troops successfully rescued stranded U.S. Rangers in Somalia.

In addition to historical details, the book includes interviews with Pakistani veterans who participated in the operation. “Rescuing the US Rangers” recounts the circumstances, challenges, and success of this historic military mission.
