Brief points on the product review meeting held in the Situation Room Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources on January 22, 2015

Islamabad, January 22, 2015 (PPI-OT): – PSO’s two tankers will arrive on 26th and 29th January 2015 carrying 100000 M.ton, besides, HPL tanker will report on 26th January 2015 having 32000 M.ton.

– Accordingly, SPL’s tanker will report on 29th January 2015 carrying 29000 M.ton. With the arrival of these tankers, the overall stock position will boost up.

– All the OMC’s have been advised to ensure equitable supply of petrol to their retail outlets, to avoid any dry out situation.

– All the OMCs are further advised to ensure 10% + option in their upcoming cargoes arriving in February 2015, helping in smooth supply of MS.

– PSO has committed to increase their daily supply of petrol from 7000 M.ton to 8500 M.ton from 26th January 2015 till 3rd of February 2015.

– OMCs are advised to plan from now the impact of consumers switch off from CNG to Petrol, after reduction in case price of Petrol goes below than CNG.
