British MP Mohammad Yasin Discusses Strengthening Ties with Pakistan’s National Assembly Speaker

Islamabad: During a courtesy visit to Parliament House today, British Member of Parliament Mohammad Yasin met with National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to discuss enhancing the already strong partnership between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, with a focus on increasing parliamentary cooperation.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, both leaders underscored the importance of building on the exceptional bilateral relations that have long existed between the two nations, rooted in mutual respect and cooperation. Speaker Sadiq was optimistic about the role of ongoing legislative interactions in boosting various sectors and advancing bilateral ties further. He highlighted the active role of the Pakistan-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group, a pivotal platform for fostering stronger connections, and advocated for continued high-level parliamentary exchanges to deepen these relationships.
