BSF Personnel Dies on Election Duty in Bandipora

Srinagar: A Border Security Force (BSF) member died while on election duty in the Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the BSF man from the 75th battalion, identified as Barber Ram Babu Thakur, became unconscious during his assignment in the Gurez area. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Thakur’s body has been sent to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Dawar for postmortem and will be returned to his family following the completion of medico-legal formalities. Thakur hailed from Salugara Bazar in Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal.
